Congratulations to Celeste Lombas, our first SVGCuts Guest Designer! Celeste was one of our very first fans and holds a special place in our crafty hearts. We’ve watched Celeste’s cardmaking talent grow, and always enjoy seeing her latest projects.
Celeste created this Girly Thank You Card using some of her favorite SVGCuts designs and techniques. A big fan of the color pink, she incorporated it big time into this feminine design. “I just love SVGCuts files. My all time favorite are the 3D Flowers. I really love the color pink and bling,” says Celeste. “I will be giving this card to a wonderful friend. I just love to surprise my friends with cards.”
This is the perfect kind of card to have on-hand for a last-minute Thank You for a friend or neighbor. Of course you can easily change the theme by using a different rubber stamp on the tag, such as “Happy Birthday” or “Miss You,” etc.
Celeste inked the edges of the shapes in maroon, which adds a nice touch without being too bold. A row of bling on the tag adds sparkle and the pink ribbons are flirty without taking focus away from the 3D Flower. The flourishes and stripes in the background finish the “feminine but not fussy” look of this sweet card.

Design Tips
- Celeste used a maroon ink for inking the flower to create contrast.
- Used lime green card stock for the tag. She also used a light pink ink to ink over the entire tag to soften up the color.
- Added some bling to the tag to jazz it up.
- K&Company “Lovely” Cardstock for the card base and the Swirly frame.
