Do you have any birthday parties coming up? Plan some cute party hats with this fun new freebie! The hat itself requires NO gluing or taping – yes, you read that right! If you’ve ever tried to glue or tape one of these together, you know what we’re talking about! Pain in the dupa (butt in Polish)! That’s why we engineered ours to be different. It uses a simple tab and slit closure and works with SCAL1, SCAL2 and MTC. You do, however need a 12×12 or 12×24 sized mat (sorry 12×6 sized mat users)!
Instructions
Just size to 11.3″ wide (keep proportions) to make a standard-sized party hat. We suggest cutting one out of scrap paper first in case you want to make yours smaller. Then if you want to use the included embellishments (circle and scalloped circle), just size them all to the same width. We recommend 3.3″ wide (and keep proportions again). Make them with any paper for whatever your party theme is, and happy crafting! (The number 3 shown is not included, but you can use your cutting software to cut any font you have. We used Arial Black for the number 3 shown.)
