They store your music, photos, contact lists and have even replaced your GPS device. Android and iPhone smartphones are dominating the mobile industry and most of them have the ability to scan barcodes. I personally use this technology to compare prices by scanning the UPC codes on product packaging. Meanwhile, beyond UPC barcodes, QR barcodes are becoming a very popular marketing tool and if used properly, can generate traffic that you normally wouldn’t see!
