These masculine cards are from our SVG Kit simply called “Guy Cards.” I used paper by BasicGrey called the Oliver Collection Pack and some coordinating AC Cardstock from PumpkinCartCrafts.com (the Earth Tones pack). But it got me to thinking… Just what IS it that makes a guy card? We get this question ALL the time – “Are you guys going to come out with some more ‘guy’ designs?”

I love the nuances of the seasons. For example, the beginning of Spring is so different from the end of Spring. I notice new subtleties and insights each year, like revisiting a favorite book or movie. What could be more fun than hailing fresh new trends while observing some of Earth’s oldest celebrations?

Mary’s Corner – Cute Cowboy Teddy Card
March 10, 2011
This cute Cowboy Bear looks great on this boot! The boot was a free SVG several months ago, and we retired it, but it’s available for download right here on this page. Since the pieces of the bear are pretty small, I used solid-colored cardstock (by American Crafts, of course, which is my favorite because it cuts so well).
Mary’s Corner – Cute Trick-or-Treaters Card
October 23, 2010
Are you ready for Trick-or-Treating yet? Our Lil’ Peeps are! These spooky little characters are only 2.3″ tall, and I used Peachy Keen Stamps for their faces and candy buckets. I created the Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster and Witch from our Trick-Or-Treat Lil’ Peeps SVG Collection at only 2.3″ tall, and they make the cutest little scene.

Mary’s Corner – Fourth of July Layout
July 3, 2010
I love the vintage appeal of this page and had a blast layering lots of festive elements. Fourth of July can be fun yet busy and loud, so I wanted my page to convey all of that. It all started with this patriotic background paper by Creative Imaginations that I picked up at Archivers. It looks like parchment and its muted reds and blues look classy and allow the more vibrant elements to pop…
Mary’s Corner – Beach Bum Layout
June 26, 2010
You can almost feel the sand between your toes looking at this layout. I had a blast working with our Beach Bum SVG Collections (I, II, III) and this beachy paper by My Mind’s Eye. I 3D-popped our cute sandcastle caption on our Scalloped Frame (freebie). I used two beachy photo frames and love the postage-stamp edged frame with this layout because it gives the feel of a vacation postcard.
Mary’s Corner – Summer Cherry Pennants
June 3, 2010
Pennants are so hot right now, and it’s so easy to achieve a multitude of looks. Pick a theme and go with it! Dinner party? Girls’ tea party? Graduation, birthday or Father’s Day? Just choose your papers and add a few die cuts! My mom is having a Summer Cherry themed tea party this weekend, so I cut a few of my favorite kitchen cherry die cuts and found some adorable paper, and voila! This will make a great hostess gift and decoration – sure to spark some lively conversation!
Mary’s Corner – Generations of Moms Scrapbook Page
April 14, 2010
I had fun pairing this pretty K&Company paper with the Extras in our new Mother’s Day Cards SVG Kit to create a pretty page for my scrapbook! The cheerful yet elegant colors and ladylike patterns were perfect. I used the Vines Square element in the background, backed by a blacked-out version of itself in a complementary pattern. Why not go all-out girly for a holiday celebrating Mom?
