Mary requested that someone from the design team use a silhouette file and do something for Valentine’s Day, so that’s what I did! I used the new party card from Everyday Cards SVG Kit and the matchbox from Crisp Days of Fall SVG Kit. The silhouette is from Kate’s Holiday Silhouettes SVG Collection. I love the dimension of the Party Card and wanted to give candy with it. So, I put the Party Card card onto the matchbox for my candies. I love …

Locks of Love By Fleurette F Bloom
February 11, 2012
Paris, the city of love, what better way to say I love you, than with a delicate Eiffel Tower box, filled with chocolates and ”Padlocks Of Love” cards? In Paris there is a romantic bridge where people place a padlock on the fence with their initials on it, then throw the key into the river to pledge eternal love. This story is what inspired me to create this fun project. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Valentine Treat Box By Cheryl Becker
January 30, 2012
I have never been one to use traditional colors for holidays, not even Valentine’s Day. I love the shades of coral and turquoise together, so I took the drum from the Santa’s Visit SVG Kit and used it as a treat box. Never would have known it was a drum! I’d love to see your take on this project!

Asian Theme Lantern By Fleurette F Bloom
January 23, 2012
I have always been drawn to the beauty of Asia. That’s what compelled me to design this paper lantern that is fun to make for Chinese New Year, to beautify your home or give as a gift. I gave this lantern the delicacy of Cherry Blossoms and butterflies with the strength of the dragon and tiger (yin and yang). I also incorporated delicate Asian designs. It’s fun, simple and beautiful.

January 16, 2012
We’ve had a mild winter so far but I am sure Mother Nature will be paying a visit in January and February (unless of course you live in a tropical region). Scrapbooks Etc just released the top 2012 trends for scrapbooking on their FB page and I incorporated 3 techniques in the …
