This is my first post here. I just registered, but am so impressed with all the info.
I wanted to say THANK YOU for the great baseball player and I enjoyed your story explaining how you got your shot. Both my grandchildren play baseball in the summer program so I am thrilled to get this.
I just received my Cricut yesterday and SCAL today. It's not even downloaded yet. I hope I can figure it all out, but I know where I can find help now if I need it. I cut one sheet of shapes and words today just to see how it works and everything went well. I am really impressed so far.
Thanks again.

Hi crftymthr! Sounds like you are in the pre-stages of SCAL addiction. Beware because we don't know how to break this habit yet. You have come to the right place!

Thank you Leo, You are awesome!! I'm loving this forum! Any chance you will be doing any photoshop elements tutorials. There's a lot of brushes I've been downloading, but don't know how to put them in PE so I can use them - do you know if they can be converted to SVGS? Carmen

Oh, as far as the brushes go, you have to take the actual brush files and place them in the brush folder. It is usually in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements x.x\Presets\Brushes\
Just put them in there and you should be able to use the brushes....
I'm sure there is some way to convert to SVG, I would have to mess around with that. I'll let you know if I figure something out.

THANK YOU! My daughter loved Swisher. One of the last games he played he for the sox, my daughter bought the green shirt with the white shamrock with SWISHER on back....then he got traded. She was soooooooooooooo mad. We try to go to a few games a year. I live on the NW side in Chicago and Im the minority. I used to get a lot of grief for it UNTIL THEY WON THE WORLD SERIES.....LOL love it. And of course when we at least went one game further in the quest for another title last year then the cubs.
Anyway....this svg will be put to good use!
A NWside WHITE SOX FAN AND PROUD OF IT Ansa

Whoa thats awesome! My favorite Northsiders are Sox fans!!! Awesome, you know Mary got a Swisher shirt too! He is definitely popular with the ladies!! On top of that he is a GREAT person, does a lot of charity work and is also a very positive person, that's what Mary really loved about him! We will always be Swisher fans even if he is playing for the Yankees this year!
Look forward to seeing you on the boards!

Thank you for the design, really cool. I'll have to try to download Illustrator. My hubby's b'day is coming up I will use your design. It's always hard to come up with manly designs for me.
