Compatibility

Any cutting machine software that allows you to import SVG files, such as Sure Cuts a Lot ("SCAL"), eCAL, Make the Cut, Silhouette Studio Designer Edition and Cricut Design Space. This Kit contains pieces that are too large for 12x6 and 8.5 x 11 mats. Alternative “solid” score lines included, as well as each project saved as a single file and all shapes “separated.”

Paper Collection | Supplies

Solid paper shown is all American Crafts (AC) Cardstock. Patterned paper shown is from the Practically Perfect collection by Carta Bella. The clock project uses one piece of 12x12” gold mirror paper, two sheets of 12x12” vellum and nine pieces of 12x12” black card stock. Adhesive used is Scotch Quick-Drying Tacky Glue.

The Day Hat features decorative brads and enamel dots which are also from the Practically Perfect collection by Carta Bella (additional “random” bling also used).

The clock mechanism can be purchased on Amazon (https://amzn.to/2HG3TbU). Its exact name on Amazon is “Mudder DIY Clock Movement 2 Hands, 3/10 Inch Maximum Dial Thickness, 4/5 Inch Total Shaft Length.” A mechanism of these dimensions was not available at the craft stores I visited in person (Michaels Stores and Hobby Lobby). The hour hand is 4.5” long and the minute hand is 5.9” long. The shaft is about 1/3” in diameter (4/5” long).

I illuminated my clock using an adhesive strip of LED lights. You can find them on Amazon (https://amzn.to/2Wp9nL5). Its exact name on Amazon is “PryEU RGB LED Strip Lights 2M Waterproof Color Changing IR Remote Control 5050 SMD with 12V Adapter for Room Bedroom Kitchen Cabinet Bed Wardrobes Ambient Lighting (Double Coated Tissue Tape).” It’s about two meters long. I also purchased something similar in person at Home Depot: 8 ft LED Color Changing Tape Light with Remote by Commercial Electric (plain white also available). It's best not to leave the illuminated clock project unattended.

For the Kite Box, I tied various coordinating ribbons and twine onto the bottom.

For the Nanny Boot, I used 10 black 6mm brads for the “buttons.” (Any somewhat similar size, such as 8mm brads would also work.) I embossed the bottom heel panels using the “Perfect Stripe” embossing folder by Carta Bella.
