Compatibility

These cutting files come in SVG file format, which is compatible with all cutting machines' software: Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL), Canvas, Leonardo, eCAL, MTC, and more. These designs contain parts that are too large for 12x6 and 8.5 x 11 mats. Alternative “solid” score lines are included, as well as "entire" project files.

Paper Collection & Supplies

This project was made using 12 x 12" American Crafts textured card stock paper. The patterned paper shown is from the Rare Oddities Collection by Graphic 45. It was assembled using Scotch Tacky Create Glue.

The spider embellishments are from Recollections (Michaels 2015), and the various ribbon trim is from a package of six different trims called Halloween Trimmings by Tim Holtz. I used one letter-sized piece of white vellum for the windows, and if you want, you can use the PDF in this project’s Extras folder called Ghosts.pdf to print some ghostly faces on some of the windows. I printed the PDF directly onto vellum and cut out the windows by hand with scissors. If you do this, instead of using the vellum.svg file for the rest of the windows, use the file vellum_alternative.svg instead (same size applies). The embossing folders I used for the various roof panels are A2 Spider Web by Paper Studio and Moguls by Sizzix.

The barn can be illuminated by several battery-powered tealight candles, or by a string of LED lights that can be plugged into a power source (wall outlet) because there is a small hole in the back.
