The Lighthouse can be given a wide variety of looks depending on the colors and patterned papers you choose. Its lantern (shown in red in the photo) lifts off and holds an electonic LED tealight candle. It separates neatly near the middle so that you can use it as a gift box. It looks extra cute when paired with the Lighthouse Keeper's Quarters. Its roof lifts off, so it's a gift box as well that could also be illuminated with electronic LED tealight candles. Make the cottage as a stand-alone project and give it a completely different theme for any season, holiday or occasion! I loved this set, but it's important to know that you need an embossing folder for the lighthouse if you want it to look like the picture. It has you cut extra parts that are embossed and then glued on to the main portion of the lighthouse, in then bottom section where the lights are. I really didn't get that from the directions/video, and it was only after emailing SVG Cuts a few times was it revealed what I was supposed to do. So, watch those e...

Paper Collection

Solid-color card stock paper used is by American Crafts. The patterned paper used is from the By the Sea Collection by Graphic 45. Another nautical collection from Graphic 45 is the Sun Kissed Collection. A white gel pen was used for the stitching on the Sailboat Card waves. Embossing folders used are Notebook and Moguls by Sizzix. Lighthouse Lantern can be illuminated by an electronic LED tealight candle (as well as the Lighthouse Keeper's Quarters).
