Dimensions and Supplies

This project uses sixteen sheets of 12x12 white paper (or whatever color you’d like the main parts of your house to be - shown here in white). The patterned paper shown is the Flora No. 1 Collection by Carta Bella. For the panels on the stairs, I used I used gold foil paper. For the iron “fencing” at the top of both roof sections, I used dark brown shimmer paper. For the windows, I used plain letter-sized vellum paper.

The finished project stands 11” wide, 17” high and nine inches deep. The roof does not lift off, so unlike some of our other "house" projects, this project is intended to be a decor piece (luminary), not so much a "gift box."

The embossing folders used are Cross My Heart by Cuttlebug (for the trim around the front door), Stripe by Darice (for the siding), Roses with Leaves by Sizzix and Layered Scallops by Echo Park for the roof panels.
