For solid-color paper, use 80# textured solid-core cardstock. Use code SVGCUTS for 10% off at 12x12Cardstock.shop.

- 9 sheets of black cardstock
- 5x3" scrap of gray cardstock
- 3 sheets of black shimmer paper (or black cardstock)
- a letter-sized piece of orange vellum (or plain vellum)
- Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Glue or Bearly Art Glue
- Ink pads for distressing edges (optional)
- An embossing machine and folders (optional)
- AC-powered LED fairy lights (optional)

I used eight sheets of the Halloween Fun Paper Collection but this paper collection works well too. The weight (thickness) of the patterned paper is not important. For tips on choosing patterned paper, check out the PDF menu included in the Nightshade Manor download! It shows all the shapes and gives helpful tips on size and what paper works best.

Compatibility

These cutting files come in SVG file format, which is compatible with all cutting machines' software: Cricut Design Space (see our FAQs here), Silhouette Studio Designer Edition, Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL), Canvas, Leonardo, eCAL, MTC, and more. These designs contain parts that are too large for 12x6 and 8.5 x 11 mats. Alternative “solid” score lines are included, as well as "entire" project files.
