Compatibility

Our SVG files work beautifully with Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio (Designer Edition), SCAL, and Canvas Workspace. Each design includes optional solid score line for Cricut users who enjoy using scoring tools. Designed for 12x12 cutting mats, these files ensure you get the perfect cut every time. (Not compatible with 12x6 or letter-size mats.)

The finished project measures 6.75” high, and six inches wide/deep.

Supplies

You'll need three 12x12 sheets of 80# textured black cardstock (Encore "Jet Black" is perfect), one letter-size sheet of vellum (orange or plain), and one 12x7" piece of patterned or specialty paper. The original patterned paper (Pumpkin Time by Simple Stories) is discontinued, so try a warm vintage look like orange plaid, small damask, aged book text, or ledger print. An optional orange alcohol marker works well for adding "streaks" and/or coloring plain vellum.

For inking, use Ranger Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap (Oxide) or Picket Fence for that soft, ghostly edge, plus a black inkpad (Color Petal set 1025) to enhance the panel edges.

Assemble with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue or Scotch Quick-Dry Tacky Glue.

For texture, run stem pieces through an embossing machine (Sizzix Big Shot) with folders like Barbed Wire (Sizzix) and Boo to You (Cuttlebug)--or substitute any subtle linen, woodgrain, or irregular pattern you love.

Illuminate yours with a 5" electric candle lamp or a string of warm white LED fairy lights.
