I have just finished making the Golf Bag for my son-in-law's 70th birthday - it looks fab and went together very easy. In place of wet glue I used double sided tape so the sticking together parts was instant which was great. To finish this off I padded out the bottom of the golf bag with some tissue paper and stood a miniture bottle of my sil's favorite whisky, added more tissue paper around the neck of the bottle to keep it in place then put on the lid. In the front pocket I put a small card with a hand written greeting on and finished it off with a ribbon simple bow. I am going to make my daughter a golf bag for her birthday (they are both golf fanatics) but I will make it very girly with flowers and pink and lemon and sugary sweet..... great little project....
